Bright Sparks After School Club

Bright Sparks After School Club provides a fun, safe and friendly environment for children to enjoy after school. Ran by Mrs Burbridge, Mrs Bassi and Mr Walker, we welcome children from all year groups ranging from ages 3-11.

We aim to provide a service that is beneficial for parents and carers and engaging for the children attending. Bright Sparks uphold the same ethos as the school and follow the same rules and values, but in a more relaxed setting where children can experience different side of school and make new friends outside of their usual groups.

We provide a variety of different activities including, colouring, painting, badminton and outdoor activities.

Here is what some of our children have to say about Bright Sparks:

“The teachers come up with good games and play with us”

“I love that I can play with my friends after school.”

“They have taught me how to play badminton now I play it at home.”

“It’s really fun and interesting, and the tea is always good, I love going.”

Here is what some of our parents have to say about about Bright Sparks:

“It’s been so good to have an after school club and the ladies are really lovely”

“My granddaughter is always disappointed when I come to pick her up as she wants to stay and play.”

“We don’t even need to use after school club but my son enjoys it so much he comes every week.”

“When my children joined the school I enrolled them in Bright Sparks after school club. They attended after school club at their previous school but Bright Sparks is better as “its more fun and the food is better”. From a parent’s perspective I am more than impressed, always greeted with a warm, friendly smile, the children are always happy and well looked after. They tell me on the way home of their activities and friends they’ve played with. It’s lovely to know that although I need them to attend, they enjoy it and I’ve also been asked by the children “to come a bit later as we we’re having too much fun”. What more could you ask for.”
